Our mission at Wildwood Montessori School, is to cultivate and nurture the innate capabilities of every student, fostering an everlasting passion for continuous learning. We are dedicated to providing unparalleled, personalized education that respects and honors the uniqueness of each child and embraces the principles of the Montessori approach. 

Wildwood Montessori School began with the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing place to grow, explore, and discover their unique potential.

In 2020, founder and Head of School, Tisha Sparks, opened her first preschool—Lil’ Sprouts Prep Academy—on the main floor of her family’s home. Her goal was simple: spark a lifelong love of learning through the Montessori method. Within a year, the school moved into its own dedicated space on Murphy Lane.

After earning her Montessori credentials in 2023, Ms. Tisha set her sights on expanding beyond preschool to serve toddlers through elementary students, with the long‑term vision of becoming a full-through school for grades 1–8. That same year, the school achieved a major milestone by earning accreditation from the International Montessori Council.

In Fall 2024, Wildwood Montessori opened its forever home on Hammons Road in La Monte. Serving up to fifty students each year, we provide a warm, engaging environment where children build the skills, habits, and curiosity that will last a lifetime.

At Wildwood Montessori School, our goal is to support the development of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—through purposeful engagement and meaningful routines.

We aim to help students:

We achieve these goals through hands‑on learning in practical life, sensorial work, mathematics, cultural studies, and language arts—alongside a rich variety of enrichment classes.

In true Montessori fashion, every child’s progress is observed, documented, and supported individually by their guides, honoring their unique pace and path of growth.
